Tudengifilm “Terror” on lugu noore inimese keerulistest otsustest, valiku tegemisest õige ja vale vahel ning suhetest vanematega selles eas, kui lapsest saab täiskasvanu. Ander üritab juba kolmandat korda astuda kõrgkooli meediat õppima hoolimata tema isa vastuseisust. Kooli pääsemise katsetel kohtub noormees Kerliga, kes abistab Anderil edasi saada, kuid ühel hetkel leiab Ander end olukorrast, kus peab valima Kerli ja kooli pääsemise vahel.
“Terror” oli minu esimene töö stsenograafina, kus sain kohe peakunstniku rolli ja püüdsin kõigi kunstniku kohustustega ise hakkama saada. See oli väärtuslik õppetund ja suurepärane kogemus. Õppisin tegema koostööd režissööri ja operaatoriga, kooskõlastama iga oma mõtet ning leidma arutelu käigus parimaid lahendusi. Juba siis püüdsin filmi ja tegelaste kostüümide koloriidi abil väljendada teose meeleolusid ning rõhutada karakteritele omaseid jooni, mõneti see ka õnnestus.

A student movie “Terror” is a story about complicated decisions of a young person, making choices between right and wrong and relationships with the parents at the age when the child becomes an adult. Ander is trying to enter the university already for the third time to study media, despite his father’s objections. At school tests, the young man meets Kerli, who helps him pass the tests but at one point, Ander finds himself in the situation where he has to choose between Kerli and getting into the school.
“Terror” was my first work as a scenographer, where I instantly became the chief artist and tried to manage all the duties of the artist on my own. It was a valuable lesson and a great experience. I learned to co-operate with the producer and operator, co-ordinate each one of my ideas and find better solutions through discussion. Already back then, I tried to express the moods of the piece and the specific traits of the characters through the colour scheme of the movie and the costumes of the characters, and I somewhat succeeded in that.
